Helping Hands Speech & Language Services is a therapist owned culturally responsive mobile clinic that is dedicated to servicing pediatric and school-aged children, starting at the age of 3 to 12 years old. Recognizing that we all have and represent a culture is a critical component as to how services are rendered.  Helping Hands Speech & Language Services supports equitable access to services for all children who present with communication delays and disabilities.  

 

Speech and language therapy targets various areas: articulation/phonological processes, receptive language, expressive language, social skills, and fluency concerns. Services are evidence based, family based, and child led using a multisensory approach.

 

Services include consultations, screenings, comprehensive evaluations, speech/language therapy, and special education compliance services (including Independent Educational Evaluations and advocacy support). 

 

We provide top-quality and specialized services rendered in the child's most natural environment including home, daycare, head start, school, and preschool setting. Home visits are provided to families within a 5.5 mile radius of the office location.  Daycare/preschool visits are provided to families within a 7 mile radius of the office location. Virtual sessions are available to all families including those in North Carolina. Currently, only private pay clients are accepted in North Carolina for teletherapy services. Teletherapy services are offered to clients who are able to tolerate the services through an online platform based upon the discretion of the provider.

We offer private pay and accept insurance to provide exceptional services to all children. Accepted insurance providers include: United Healthcare, Aetna, Coventry, Optum Health, TriCare East, Peach State, CareSource, Ambetter, Amerigroup, and Georgia Medicaid/Peachcare. TriCare East is an out-of-network provider. 

 

 We accept credit, debit, HSA/FAS cards, and cash payments before services are rendered. ​
